The clock is ticking...

Where has all the month gone?

OK, so I spent some of it in bed (long-term annoying illness) but surely January can't be nearly over already? Feels like I just blinked, and whole weeks vanished. Spooky - beware the weeping angels!

Yes, I've been catching up with "Dr Who" on DVD. As a consequence, this last week, I have had nothing in my imagitorium but science-fiction stories - and most of them would have to be in the form of "Dr Who" fan-fiction. Still, it may be worth fleshing out one or two of the ideas into proper stories, and approaching the Beeb. After all, they can only say 'no', can't they?

PS. After a look at the BBC's website, I learned that they do say no. No scripts, no stories, no ideas. Complete lock-down. Well, I suppose they've got to - otherwise they'd be flooded with submissions from every fan who thinks s/he can write. Like me, for instance (!)

However, fan fiction is still an option. So long as I don't try and sell it, I may write what I like. I keep all such stuff at WDC. It's only notes and outlines at the moment, but feel free to take a look.
